游戏简介：

  《shiningtears》的故事是发生在梦幻大陆恩迪亚斯，这是个妖精、矮人、兽人与人类共荣共存的世界，玩家扮演一位受了重伤而丧失记忆的少年席恩（xion），被妖精少女 爱尔薇（elwind）所救，并受到要塞都市国家希尔迪亚的人们所照顾而逐渐康复。

希尔迪亚虽然拥有围绕于城都之外，被称为「狮子之鬃」的三道城墙所包围，号称难攻不落，但面临军事大国鲁恩盖斯特的大军威胁，仍显得岌岌可危。为了守护拯救了自己性命的希尔迪亚国民们，西恩挺身而出，加入了佣兵团，为防卫希尔迪亚而战，并在战争之中意外发现了隐藏于背后的阴谋，以及古代人遗产的秘密。

　　主角席恩持有传说中的双龙戒指，双龙戒指是成双的对戒，在战斗时让伙伴戴上另一个戒指，便能携手共同发挥强大的力量，因为这个设定，所以虽然游戏中有许多伙伴可以供玩家自由选择，但每次战斗只能选择一位伙伴搭档参战，玩家必须特别注意每个角色的特色并灵活运用。

　　此外，每个角色的心灵属性也不尽相同，故会造成主角个性的变化，产生出阳性的席恩与阴性的席恩，两种不同属性的席恩不但个型不同，战斗技巧也完全不一样。因此伙伴的选择便显得相当重要。游戏的系统采用经验值升级制，当玩家累积足够的经验值就可以升级，而每次的升级都会获得技能点数，玩家可以自由分配这些技能点数来强化特定的能力，而游戏中的能力种类非常丰富，玩家可充分自由的设定。

　　游戏的主线故事是单一路线，并无分歧剧情，但是根据玩家所选择伙伴的不同，会影响各角色与主角之间的友好度。根据友好度的差异，不但会影响到最后的结局，一些跟主线故事无关的支线事件也会发生变化，也可能萌发出彼此之间的友情或甚至是爱情。因此可以说在这款游戏里头，最重要的就是一起搭档战斗的伙伴。

　　玩家除了单独游玩之外，还可以让同伴在战斗中使用 2p控制器操作另一名游戏角色共同杀敌，使出各种华丽的双人合体技。由于战斗是采动作游戏的操作方式，玩家们能以简单而灵活的操作进行战斗，又能与同伴互相合作使出特殊技巧，自由度相当高。而在单人游玩时，一样可以以命令的方式来指挥伙伴使出合体技。
