XCOR Lynx supersonic超音速客機 : 紐約飛到東京只要1.5小時！

        美國加州 XCOR Aerospace航空公司公佈 Lynx supersonic超音速客機的首批圖片與資訊。 據 XCOR Aerospace表示，超越每小時4023.36公里的速度讓 Lynx supersonic超音速客機僅需1個半鐘頭，就能將乘客從紐約載到東京！

        Lynx supersonic超音速客機將與一般 747客機一樣的方式起飛，接著靠強勁的噴射動力垂直爬行至離地面100公里的高度後，再向下降滑行與盤旋，最後用一般飛機的方式滑行降落於目的地機場。Lynx supersonic超音速客機預計將總共花費1000萬美金(約2.9億新台幣)開發，並在未來20年內開始紐約飛至東京的載客服務，而每張來回機票售價將高達9.5萬美金(約275萬新台幣)。

        XCOR Aerospace航空公司將於2013年初開始替 Lynx supersonic超音速客機進行為期12至18月的試飛活動。可重複飛行的雙人座 Lynx supersonic超音速客機計畫將每日完成4趟飛行。
