預覽簡介：
  20世紀初，大清王朝氣數已盡，各路軍閥連年混戰，擁兵自重，上演了壹個又壹個的逐鹿之爭。時有直隸鎮守使雷大牛（劉青雲 飾）憑借旁門左道的劉昆山（吳剛 飾）大肆招募兵馬，不斷壯大，外有重兵，內有美眷，加上居心叵測的日本人大力扶持，正是春風得意時。與此同時，京城來了神秘的魔術師張賢（梁朝偉 飾），他憑借令人拍案叫絕、神乎其神的技藝絕倒京城，自然連雷大牛也早有耳聞。殊不知張賢是大牛的七姨太柳蔭（周迅 飾）的青梅竹馬，當年他外出求學時愛人被大牛擄走，抱憾終身，此外他還隸屬某個神秘的組織，該組織時刻圖謀綁架牛司令。在這個紛爭亂世，張賢將上演怎樣令人嘆服感慨的魔術呢……
