預覽簡介：
天才和瘋子常常只是同壹個人的兩種描述。神探陳桂彬（劉青雲 飾）就是這樣壹個人物，和天才畫家梵高壹樣，他也曾經割下自己的耳朵。盡管破案無數，偵探能力超凡，卻終被世俗認定是瘋子壹個，提早從警局裏退了休。
探員何家安（安誌傑 飾）接到了壹樁棘手的案件。案發地在樹林，兩名警員王 國柱（李國麟 飾）和高誌偉（林家棟 飾）辦案之後，只有高誌偉平安歸來，而王國柱和他的槍則神秘失蹤。何家安請來陳桂彬為他指點迷津，卻未料到陳桂彬的“瘋子”行為又壹次在偵探過程中表露無遺。他斷定高誌偉就是此案兇手，並把推理建立在他自己大量的想象之上。他自稱能看到高誌偉的“七宗罪”，正是這些罪惡把高誌偉引向犯罪之路。然而，要何家安相信這壹切並不容易，因為他已經被高誌偉的演技所迷惑……
